Today I’m joining along with Ginny at Small Things for this week’s yarn along, sharing what I’m knitting and reading.

I’ve been working on this rainbow striped cardigan for Lucy off and on for the last couple months, but I’m determined to finish it soon because it’s getting colder here! I’m using this pattern, but am doing rainbow stripes. I’m going to put some Wooly Moss Roots heart buttons on it when it’s finished. I think Lucy will love it.
I’ve been reading Somewhere in an Oregon Valley by Jon Remmerde. Very well written, and soothing somehow! I love reading books about Oregon. This one was written by my friend Amanda’s dad about how they raised and homeschooled her and her sister without any modern conveniences on a ranch. The descriptions of the land are beautiful.
I’d love to hear about what you’re reading and/or knitting!

your sweater is lovely. i am a HUGE fan of rainbow goodness. i really like it alot. i grew up in oregon. maybe i should see if i can find a copy of that book, sounds really neat.
It’s so pretty! All the little girls are into rainbows I guess, because my friends are making rainbow things for their kids too!
The rainbow sweater looks great! Very cheery!
Amanda,
That book looks good.
The cardigan is looking beautiful! I am looking forward to seeing the heart buttons on there and bless your heart for linking to us.
Love, Taryn
